Talking Tonneau Covers Et All

HEY DV,

HOW'S MY MAIN MAN?? I SURE HOPE THAT YOU & MS. DV & GARY ARE ALL WELL. GIVE THEM MY BEST.

MAN, I'M ALL PUMPED FOR DVSF-II - I REALLY NEED TO GET AWAY FROM THE MESS AROUND HERE.

MAIN POINT: I HAD A REALLY NICE TONNEAU COVER FOR THE BLACK COBRA - THE EXCALIBUR / C.R. CAR. IT WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED IN THE FIRE AND I WOULD LIKE TO GET A REPLACEMENT. DOES CLASSIC ROADSTERS MAKE A TONNEAU COVER THAT WILL FIT MY CAR??

I ALSO HAD A REALLY NICE MANUAL, ABOUT AN INCH THICK AND 8 1/2" X 11" OR SO PRINTED "SIDEWAYS". IT WAS AN ASSEMBLY MANUAL FOR THE CLASSIC ROADSTERS CAR BUT A LOT OF IT RELATED TO THE EXCALIBUR AS WELL.

COULD YOU LET ME KNOW THE AVAILABILITY AND COST OF BOTH ITEMS?

I'D SURE APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU COULD GIVE ME ON THIS.

ADDITIONALLY, I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOUR FRIEND JACK WHO WAS GOING TO MAKE THE CUSTON ENGRAVED WIND WINGS AND SWITCH BEZELS FOR ME. I LOST HIS E-MAIL ADDRESS IN THE FIRE WITH THE OTHER COMPUTERS. WOULD TOU BE KIND ENOUGH TO SEND IT TO ME AGAIN. I'M STILL VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN HAVING THEM MADE.

OLD BUDDY, THANKS AGAIN - VERY MUCH - FOR ALL OF YOUR KIND OFFERS TO HELP DURING MY "RECENT UNPLEASANTNESS". YOUR GOOD WISHES AND KIND OFFERS REALLY MEANT A GREAT DEAL TO ME. I HOPE TO HAVE THE NEW HOUSE FINISHED BY LATE JULY. (AN 8 CAR GARAGE WITH A LEAN-TO KITCHEN WITH A BEER COOLER AND A ROLL-AWAY BED). ALL KIDING ASIDE - I'M COUNTING ON YOU & MS DV VISITING THIS FALL. I REALLY WANT TO SHOW YOU "MY TOWN". SEE WHERE ALL OF YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE GOING.

VERY BEST WISHES AND Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY,

BLACKJACK

Jack,
I've got a spare copy of the manual. Just let me know where to send it. You can e-mail me at: dkjos@minnair.com

I expect only another sip of raki in exchange!

Jack,

Sorry for the delay, I just found this thread! Do you have a roll bar? Sorry I fogot. If NOT...Have I got a suprise for you. I have a black one in stock that will go right on. Just let me know.

If you do have a roll bar, then you need to get ahold of Pete at Classics..800-373-9000. This is important! Do NOT allow them to install the female snaps to the top! Make sure they send them with the cover, but not installed. To make sure it fits properly, you will have to match up the females to the male studs on your car. I know you can do that

It is so good to see you back myfriend! You do know we will cancel the DVSF II if you don't show!

What else can I do?

DV

DV, If you carry Tonneau covers, I need one also. No roll bar. And don't keep it any secret if you decide to visit our fair city.

Damn...got thinking about this, trekked to the shop, opened the bag for the first time and the cover is NOT black, but what CR's calls tan. I call it butterscotch.

Offer is still good, sorry it isn't black!
DV
ps I'll give Jack hell as soon as I see him!

Question SAME FIT ???

HEY D.V.

MY CAR HAS A ROLL BAR.

IF YOU RECALL - IT IS AN "EXCALIBUR".

THE CLASSIC ROADSTERS HARD TOP FIT REASONABLY WELL - AFTER YOU & GARY MODIFIED IT.

I'M SURE THE TONNEAU WILL FIT THE CAR PROVIDED THAT THE ROLL BARS ARE THE SAME.

DO YOU THINK THAT THEY ARE???

I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD GET JACK TO CONTACT ME.

THANKS AGAIN, AND, HAVE A REALY GREAT DAY,

BLACKJACK

BlackJack,
I remember the car allright! A CR's tonneau should fit perfectly.
But make sure you tell them NOT to install the snaps. Either you can do it or any auto shop can. This way you know it will line up right, with what is already there.

See you in June! Which car are you bringing? I saw you were looking to have all three painted....

Fella, it just wont be the same without you! I think Jay and Turk are already organizing a party around you Sometihng about canceling their rooms? Said they don't need no stinkin' three rooms!

Talking WITH BELLS ON

HEY DV,

I'LL DEFINATELY BE THERE. THE ROOM IS RESERVED, AND I ALREADY HAVE THE RAKI.

THANKS FOR THE INFO ON THE TONNEAU COVER. I CALLED PETE JOHNSON TWICE SO FAR AND LEFT MESSAGES WITH HIS "GIRL FRIDAY". I'M STILL WAITING FOR HIM TO RETURN MY CALL.

I HAVE TO BE IN SALT LAKE CITY MOST OF NEXT WEEK - ON BUSINESS. I'LL CALL HIM AGAIN WHEN I GET BACK.

I PLAN TO BRING THE EXCALIBUR COBRA AND THE GT-40. MY SON CRAIG WILL DRIVE ONE OF THEM - - PROVIDED HE CAN GET AWAY FROM WORK.

Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY, MY FRIEND.
