I got a chuckle out of noise and vibration......
Probably going with spherical on both ends of uppers, not sure on lowers. Right now will replace bushings and see... But DOM tubing with heim ends are possible, just need to figure out rear sway, that would make them non adjustable

I’m going for a daily driver with hard top n A/C
I saw a nice 67 Nova SS at the Street Rod Nats with the Heidts Super Ride
Now that’s the way to get a easy riding Classic
Back to the shop, I got an S10 transmission on a jack ready to be stabbed
I should of called a friend Im starting to think

what length compressed and extended are they? Did you go with single or double adjustable? Part number? I want to know how that rear end set up goes. Its a 9"? I'm going 8.8, I wonder if all the mounts, coil overs, will be the same. I'm assuming the control arms would be different (9" vs 8.8), no?

mine is a 8.8 as well
these fit the measurements the best, I am at 15.5 at ride height length, and 18.5 extended currently. These should give me the same range and ride in the middle of the shock stroke. went with 250lb Eibach springs, 14" to fit these coilovers. They are single adjustable, as are my fronts. Did not see a reason to go double adj as its a street car for me, will not see track time. I will be using UPR lower mount designed for the 8.8 rear end and recently sourced an upper mount from outcastautoworks. https://www.outcastautoworks.com/col...r-mounting-kit I put a pic of bracket in gallery, would not let me attach here

Are you using a rear sway bar? if so. how is it attached. I want to do similar control arms, but thinking of only having 1 side adjustable and welding a tab for the sway mount

What version front shock/coilover spring rate are you using on the front?

Started to work on this today. Original springs were marked 225 so 250 on the coilovers should be ok. Everything went smooth so far. Watch the rear rollbar bracket for clearance. Fyi, the original carrera shocks were worn out. Also the top shock mount had bent the frame bracket slightly, so dual bolt mounts a must.. may have to reroute the brake lines slightly.

Ran into a snag, the Moog sb340 bushings are correct but want the energy suspension ones. I bought some that are too small Energy Suspension 3.2124G. Any ideas on the correct ones

Hey FYI the SB340 9/16” center is 3 1/2” wide and what I have is 3” wide center and 2 1/2” wide outer bushing at control arm.
I ordered bushings from Stengel Bro’s Leaf Spring
Part #RB159 at $16.00 a pair
1 5/8” OD x 2 1/2” wide x 9/16 (3” wide)
They will be here soon I’ll let you know if they fit

Just measured my sb340, they are 3 inch sleeves in a 2.5 inch housing. Direct replacement looking. I REALLY want poly bushings. I can press the Moog in if I need to for a freshen up. However I am waiting g for my proper press sleeves. All should be here Wednesday for fitment

Called my friend at Autozone that had the wide SB340s and it turns out he got SB344s, I ordered by wrong truck year not Moog number.
He said they are 1 11/16” OD not 1 5/8”, gotta measure again I just used calipers in the bore.
At $8.00 per bushing tho compared to Autozone at $22.00 I ordered 1 pair they will exchange to 1 11/16” if need be.
What brakes do you have back there?l
