Hi everyone
Finally I am back with the needed pictures !
May I please request you to take a look at these pictures and advise me the best option for my brake modernization project - both front and rear ? At this point, budget is not very important as I want to do it once for all…it’s really essential for me to get from you direct links to a site like summit racing or other similar sites where I can do an easy international shipment

Looks like a Mustang II front end - correct? Which rear axle - Ford 8.8", 9" or something else?

Artur, What rear axle? 8.8 or 9". On the front, are they Mustang II spindles? We need to know that before we can help.

There are numerous options for both front and rear. For example, Wilwood has a few configurations for the rear axle, with the parking brake either a separate caliper on the rotor or an internal drum brake. There are others, of course, with similar configurations. There are also a number of suppliers of kits for Ford rear axles that use GM calipers that have an integral parking brake mechanism that actuates the brake piston (which is what I'm running). Front brake kits for Mustang II front suspension go anywhere from single piston calipers to those that use 2, 4, or 6 pistons.
One factor to consider is your wheel size - 13" rotors don't fit in 15" wheels. If you're running 15" wheels you have fewer choices than if you're running 17" or 18" wheels.
What about your intended usage? Street, autocross, track?
Do you have a budget in mind?

Artur, Just noticed the stock Mustang II control arms in your picture. Have you thought of tubular arms and coilovers? If the rear is a 8.8 Mustang there is a current thread to switch that to coilovers also. 8.8 has removeable rear cover, 9" has no rear cover.

Pretty sure that is an earlier 8.8 Mustang rear end. There should be a tag on the rear cover plate under on of the bolts back cover. It can decode what year, gear ratio, and lim slip or not.
As already asked, what size wheels are you using? That will be the deciding factor as to which way you go on the brakes.
I will point out that your car is about 1000 lbs lighter than what the current brakes are designed to stop.
If you are looking to race it you go one direction. I have the same brakes and plan on street use. I am leaving my brakes "as-is". If I do a brake upgrade I will most likely use Wilwood brake calipers in front using the stock Mustang II rotors so they fit inside my 15" wheels. I will possibly convert to rear factory style calipers when I shorted the rear axle housing 1 1/2" on both sides to tuck in my wider 9 1/2" rear knock off wheels.
I am more focused on the suspension parts for handling. I am upgrading to tubular A-arms in front with coil overs. Will most likely upgrade to coil overs in rear as well.

For my street cruiser soft ride I installed all new stock rubber control arm bushings.
ProShock coil overs fit where the AVOs are
Rear brakes from North Race Cars. They sell FFRs and have the best 1 piece bracket in the world. Complete Willwood kit with hoses and parking brake cables.
They will make sure you have the right master cylinder.
I will start a new thread with mount info when I’m done with antidive/alignment bracket.
Royal is checking out Heidts on the front, Heidts has me sending photos of what I have now

2. You asked for a measurement around axle asking whether it’s 8.8 or 9inch…my mechanic could not figure out which measurement you are asking and took this picture with his measurement, closest to the 8.8-9 that you are asking….hope this is the right measurement ?

You have a 8.8” rear end. 8.8 is the size of the big gear inside of the center section of the rear end.
Google ‘North Racecars’ website and they have a complete 8.8 Cobra kit to mount brakes
Everything nuts, bolts, hoses and emergency brake cables.
Master cylinder selection is important and Richard will make sure you get the right one.
If you are going front coil over Heidts is what we are checking out
The front complete kit that you get from Heidts will have Willwood brakes
Summit and Speedway have Mustang II disc conversation kits if you are just doing brakes up front
The kits replace the stock 9 1/2” rotors with 11” GM rotors and calipers
Here’s a photo of the 11” GM brakes with an RCC coil over suspension

I have had better customer support with barre brakes but regardless of witch brand you decide disk for both front and rear even for a street car.

I understand the off continent problem, but putting someone in charge of "improving" or "modifying" a system that your life will depend on without a basic understanding of what they are dealing with troubles me very deeply.

Hello everyone
I do appreciate that I am getting answers from you but I am still not able to use them a lot. And yes, there isn’t any problem with the mechanical capability or the Workshop, but as you said, it’s a language problem
I know I am sounding lazy but in reality, I’m not. I will definitely contact the supplier you mentioned but I am afraid we will be going thru the same communication problems
If you managed to understand my existing front and rear set up, I really need a direct link to what I have to order - front amd rear — in order to modernize my brake systems to the best

If you are not able to send links, I need very specific information for front and rear on what I should speak to the supplier you mentioned — the more specifications you give (as if you are making the order yourself), the better
If I really try to understand everything you are saying and go out with this information I am pretty sure there will be some questions back and I won’t be able to answer them
So either direct links or very specific info on what I have to order for front and rear (almost similar to a packing list) would be very - very helpful

You need the right master cylinder. Front hoses. Do you have a power brake booster? Speedway Motors has the best selection and price on those.
