I think they will, they have them listed for Mustang II and it’s a new product according to the review at bottom of listing.
I gave Ford $94 each for them in 1998!

I searched the net for images of the Mustang II V8 mounts. I also looked at my assembly manual. This is what the mounts should look like for the CRI motor mount (except for the one broken mount):

I have searched the web and cannot find new ones at all. I am now looking at a custom frame mount I can make to use the late Fox Body Mustang mounts.

well the trans-dapt 4982 arrived, and I don't think they're gonna work, not on my CRII anyway. The fitment on the frame are about 3 1/8" wide and the space on the mount is about 3 3/4", and when bolted to the block, the pair of the mounts are directly directly across from each other, if that makes sense, and the fitments/frame brackets are offset when bolted to the frame.

Like the pictures. Engine rebuilt for Bennett car and can't ask him what mount he used. Can't find mounts as the car was drivable way back when. Refreshed motor as car set for some time and had billet crank setting at Engines by Rex shop and wanted to put that in with refresh. Can't look at Shelby csx car next to Bennett car as it has solid mounts. Have not been on site for long time so glad to see it's still going. Lots of knowledgeable people here and pictures yea.

The Mustang II motor mounts can be rebuilt with a $100 polyurethane kit from SSC Enterprises.
Maybe the TransDapt are made for a spacer so only one style had to be made?
I’ll measure the real Ford mounts and post the hole location info in a few days.
The motor mounts CR2, Don Scott recommended are Energy Suspension #ES4.1122 or #ES4.1124 with transmission mount. R for red, G for black.
These are the same type as what Royal has in post 12.
The mount stud is at a 45 degree angle and the frame mounts are a 45 degree angle V with a triangle gusset on the inside.
I’m about to weld some up after Christmas vacation is over.
Thanks Santa, It’s just what I wanted.
Thank you Jesus.
Wyatt

I’ve talked to Classic Auto Reproductions on the phone.
The rebuild kit is available.
The motor mounts are in development and will be another month or two.
There are no mounts that fit, the trans dapt are early Ford, I bought them and they don’t fit.
I’m going to make a few pair of the CR2 style frame mounts that fit the 84-94 Mustang motor mounts.
Get back to you soon.

I would be interested in the CRII mounts when you get them done.

I’m 1/2” away from doing this full time. I’ve seen pictures of the CR2 mounts that have disappeared from the posts.
Piece of cake. Gonna make extras.
Working on the party bus too.
I’m gonna kick some Farmtruck and AZN “Green Lizard” Okla State Prison bus butt at Hinton Dragstrip. I’m running a 390-C6 with 5:29 gears and 33” tires.
A man has to have a goal in life.

making the fitment that bolts to the frame that would accept the foxbody convertible mounts seems like it would be the easiest way to fix this problem.

I can locate the motor with my Mustang II mounts and build CR2 frame brackets.
Keep your Dorman mounts, do you want painted steel or 304 stainless frame brackets?
I’m using the Energy Suspension 84-94 Mustang motor mounts they are same size as the convertible motor mounts.

Post #9 photo are the CR1 frame mounts. The one on left is drivers side but is marked RT. Passenger side is marked LT, yellow junkyard marker.
The oval slots receive a bump that’s on the Mustang II motor mounts.
I am looking for dimensions of the CR2 frame mounts that are a 45 degree V part with a triangle gusset on the inside.
I’m making CR2 mounts that use the 84-94 Mustang motor mounts soon, the CR1 Mustang II motor mounts are history.
I’ve got a Union side job installing elementary school FEMA tornado shelter door hardware and my fingers are cracked and bleeding. Mounts are next.

Keep us posted on when you get those fitments for current mounts done. I'm struggling to find the factory ones, need to drop my motor in to proceed with the build. If anyone has measurements for where the motor needs to sit, that would be great, I'll start trying to fab myself

So being late to the party I might not be any help. Sunman I have my frame mounts still out of the ca for sizing etc. When I pit my 351C into my 74 I used the frame horns swapped in from a 75 302 car, the mounts were shot. Even then they were nonexistent. If I recall (it was 1991) I used 289 mounts that worked perfectly.
