I went to the tubular LCA arms. I do not use the rear sway bar for the reasons you mentioned. I don't miss having it. No over or understeer issues on the street or track. I am still using the front sway bar which is said to be oversized for the car. Very little body roll if any. I remember DV saying to delete both sway bars for better cornering. That he had some much improved results on the skid pad. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
