Lokar Throttle Cable

What length have those of you that have the Lokar throttle cable on your CR used? The stock one that I have now is about 25 to 26 inches long, and there's not much for any extra length. Will the 24" Lokar still work or have you had to shorten the 36"??

I use the 24" and I normally have to shorten it up a bit. A lot of it depends on how the bracket is. I use the Lokar bracket that mounts to the back corner of the carb.
