Just head out to your local Home Depot type store and look for some thick (1/2" - 3/4") rubber (*not* foam) insulation. Another thing that might work just as well is some rubber tubing ... tubing without the re-inforcing web inside.
I did use some of that pipe insulation (like they use on air conditioner lines) to isolation some of the parts of my Cobra's body. The pipe insulation is foam-based but compresses very similar to rubber. Heck, I used a couple of pieces glued to the inside of the door hinge area to provide a "soft-stop" for when folks open the doors on my Cobra.
