Default Seat Belts

What kind of seat belts are used in the CR? Don't want to use racing types, such as Simpson.

From the manual it looks like the standard CR seatbelts are ... standard seatbelts JC Whitney has 'em. You'll need the riser piece from CR to put the shoulder part up high enough.

Classic did offer a 3 point seat belt but we are not going to offer it. It didn't work very well. We are going to be offering a 4 or 5 point system. On all new frames we are adding the mount to support those.

I have the factory CR OEM type seat belts. They are a 3 point belt, and look like they could be duplicated from J.C.Whitney. The seat bracket that brings the belt from the retractor over the sholder would have to be fabricated, but that's about it.

Even after shortening, and restitching the belt, the retractors, due to the odd angle of mounting (driver belt retractor angled toward driver right sholder rather than left, and vice versa for passenger), have never worked that well. The belt sits on the floor, rather than retracting all the way up. It's an annoyance, but I put up with it. Otherwise, once buckled up, they work fine.
