Talking Title & Registration

After five weeks and five trips to the local MVD the titling and registration ordeal is finally over. I went in this morning with a “Power of Attorney,” copies of the original invoices and purchase agreements, the “Bill-of-Sale” selling the car to me, my first born male child (just in care they need something of value). I was prepared to do what ever was necessary to get the car on the road including “bonding the car” ($500) as one MVD clerk said I had to do, to paying sales tax ($1800.00) as another MVD clerk said I had to do. I got there at opening (8:00 am) ready to go. My number was call and I gave the clerk (a different one this time) the “Power of Attorney” and the Mfg. Origination and much to my surprise that’s all she wanted. Ten minutes and $27.00 later (I could have kissed her) I’m out the door with a new Title, registration and plate. Just goes to show, it all depends on who waits on you at MVD.

Smile Congratulations also Donald!

Hey Donald! I'm glad it's all over for you! I had a hell of a time...but it's all over now....It's just the snow here that sucks...but it's melting. Wish I had your weather!! Have fun and be safe.
Snake.

Donald,

Lucky for you that you aren't a Pennsylvania person. We have to wait for Penn Dot to send us our paperwork. At least 5 weeks and usually more. Must be nice to be able to drive your car year round. Sure could use some of your weather on East Coast now. Enjoy the experience.

The weather is just perfect in the high 70's. Went to the drag races Saturday and got a little sun burned but was a great day. Starting driving the Cobra but had some problems with the Holley fuel injection. Kept loading up on fuel and run then die, run then die. Will have to do some fine adjusting. The problem is I don't have the manuel. I'll try Holley's web sight and see what's there.
