Full width rollbar
For those of you thinking of a full width roll bar, make sure the one you purchase is designed to go AROUND the trunk pan.
It can save you the extra effort of cutting out and glassing the TRUNK.
this was certainly an IGNORANT oversite to fit it without considering the body postion.
caveat emptor, i guess
for you fox news readers....
grrrrrrr

Been there, done that, didn't bother buying a t-shirt.
I ended up cutting part of the corners of the trunk. Not too much; just enough to be a PITA.

Crud Pete... tell me, what is the next PIA I am about to experience,
between Zavada, side pipes, and now the roll bar... can you for warn me of the inevitable footsteps I seem to be following
well, at least I hope to have a car which I can only hope to enjoy as much as you do yours

J T got the bar from us at Elite. But it was not our design, it was from Tommy B. We were overdue to get him a bar so we sent him one we had from Tommy without ever fitting it into a CR. I appologize again to Bill for the mods to the trunk needed. If we were to replace with one of our bars that DOES clear the trunk, the forward holes would need to be recut, as our bars are wider than Tommy's.

Jay thanks for the email and phone call regarding my situation.
Don, I don't know how you do it, but thanks for always being there and giving unrelenting support and help despite the problems generated out of your control. You ALWAYS go beyond what is necessary, I thank you and feel indebted to you. I will send you that roll bar next week.
Just out of curiousity... how much for a new body?

J T, What's wrong with the body you have? You can change the way your body appears to others by diet and excersise. If it's just from age then I think you are stuck with what you have. Has anyone heard of a body transplant? I may be interested myself.
Just the body alone is about $2500. If you want all the other parts (doors, trunk, hood, etc) the cost is around $4000.
