Default T56 Transmission mount....

Just checking to see if anyone makes a T56 Transmission mount to fit the CR Frame. I have a 351W with a Viper T56 and need to purchase or weld up an adaptor since the mount that ships with the CR is for a T5? I Think?

Jim,
I use the Viper tranny insolator. Works well without hardly any mods. You may need to use spacers on the corners of the actual trans mount to keep the right angle of the driveshaft.

Typing is harder than building right now (:

I think I have the correct Isolator but the crossmember that the isolator would bolt to is too far forward and too high. This kit is from about 1997 so I don't know if newer/different mounting is available on the newer kits that I might not have, but it doesn't appear that I would be able to get the stock crossmember to work.

I got the t56 to work on my cobra. I think I had to drill new holes in the steal mount. I think I only used one bolt on each side of the mount and one bolt on the rubber mount. Have not had any problems and I get on it hard.
