Adjusting the float bowl in a Holley

I am in the process of adjusting the float bowl on a Holley 4150,750HP.

I know the screw is the lock and the nut raises and lowers the float. But no where can I fine which way to turn to raise the fuel level or to lower it.
I assume you turn it clockwise to lower the level of fuel, and the reverse to raise it. But you know what they say about "assuming"
Anyone know?
