Default sorry, I would like the opinion of don scott

Hi Don,
Thanks for your answer to my post, but I need another specified :
You told me 275/60/15 (for the rear) will be ok, but I'm asking myself how to obtain this effect : I don't want the rear wheels to be tucked under the rear wing but level with the edge.
I bought the rims at Vintage Wheels, with a 4'' rear backspacing, and the seller told me it's perfect to obtain this effect with a classic roadster from 1991...
What do you think about it ? And are the 275/60/15 the most width tires I can fit ?? Have you got some advice for me about this ?
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day - Bye - Domi

Domi, the rear wheels should have the 4.5" backspace. The wheels you have will probably work but they will be close to the edge. The problem with that is the tire has a bulge beyond the wheel and it may rub on the outside lip of the wheel opening. You can use the 295x50x15 tire which has a shorter sidewall and doesn't bulge out as much. If the wheels are ordered with the 4.5" backspace then the best fitting tire is the 275x60x15. It is a very wide tire and looks great on the car. You may want to return the wheels and get the proper offset otherwise I would use the 50 series tire.
