I don't know exactly what it is called, but you are suppose to use a special tool to seperate the two. The seperation is the disc that is still attached. I usually seperate them by using a couple of flat head screw drivers, pushing them in where the spring is, and then a gentle pull and they will pull apart.

Since it is fuel injection the lines are high pressure and you can attach rubber fuel injection lines and use fuel injection clamps. Your local auto parts store should have the tool to seperate the Ford fuel clamps, rubber fuel lines, and fi clamps.

Otherwise you can bend metal lines and then rubber to the engine from the frame/body. You obviously don't want to be hardlined from the body/frame because of the engine vibrations.

Did this help or were you just looking for the name of the fuel hose clamps?

Thanks for the help guys...
Before I posted that pic here, I took that picture to a couple auto part store... No one knew what they were... (Thanks for letting me know what it was called)...
Once I knew what the part was, no auto part stores had any... I called Ford, the service department said that there was only one in the city (I needed both)
Good thing I asked if the part was the same from a 90 couger, I ended up buying the disconnect tool from Autozone and yanking them off my old 90 couger that has been sitting in a garage for 2 years.
