Smile Classic Roadster finally arrived

Finally received Classic Roadster from Snakebite performance. It seems to be in good condition. The moving company said it would take about a week to be deliverd.Well it was somewhat longer than that, but the company did have pretty good communication.I haven’t had a good chance to really look it over, but it starts right up, drove it home and it sits in the garage. Wife wants insurance on the car before I take it out.
My questions are how you open the trunk I could not figure that out. Also the passenger side door won’t open. The latch between the door and seat will pull up but there is a slippage feel and the door won’t open.
I put up some pictures on my photo gallery!

I have a Classic too. The trunk release if a small lever up under the rear of the body, just left of centre, on mine. I push it toward the drivers side and the trunk opens! Afraid I can't help you on the door. Maybe the cable has broken or is slipping. Good luck!

427Snake thanks for the reply.I was able to open the tailgate. The tailgate has a broken hanger in the back,it looks like a broken weld.So I need to fix the passanger door and the tailgate hanger.
I got to drive the car and its a lot of fun.Kids and wife seem to like it just as much as I do!

Default classic roadster finally arrived

I nearly bought that same car in early May. Came within a whisker, but could not get together on price.

I found the source of the "broken" Trunk door. It was
just the hinge bolt had fallen out and was lying on the
trunk floor. There was no nut to be found.I put the bolt
back with a nylock-nut, that will not come out again.

The passenger door would not open so we pulled out the
back tire and opened the latch access panel. The plastic
cable tie would not hold the cable so we used a hose clamp
to tie it down, so the door will now open!

Next on the agenda is the front suspension ,it is way to hard!
its probably why the car has so few miles on it.
Has any one cut the front shock tower down and welded on a
lower piece so a standard Mustang11 coil over shock would fit?
or is this not a good idea?

Rich
Nice looking car. How does it run? I know I enjoy my Classic Roadster. Hope you have a lot of fun with yours. If you have any questions about your car call Don and the guys at Classic Roadsters. They have always been very helpful.

Personally I would consider changing them out with the coilover system that CRII sells. That's what I put in mine.
