Sorry Don, but little frenchie has got troubles again... (CR 1991)

Hi Don,
I've got a problem of friction with my right rear wing :
If you remember, I've post you a mail last months ago, because I was asking myself about the good size for my tires :
I told you that my rims (from Vintage Wheels) have a 4'' backspacing, and you finally advise me to put 275x60x15 tires, which was a good size for you.
Well, I've just put yesterday the wheels, and each time I pass on a bump or hole in the road, the right tire rubs the body (and only the right one), and a lot !!
So, I'm asking myself what is the solution :
- Should I change my shock absorbers, for firms ones ? If yes, could you give me a reference (which size, which mark, ... ?), so that I can buy this at a distributor like SUMMIT... ?
- Should I change the back coil springs, and if yes, same questions as for the shocks, and what is the donor vehicle, FORD ? because I've no ieda about this...
The only thing I know is that my 1991 Cobra CR was built in the "old factory".

You can adjust the spring on your car to stiffin the rear. Behind each seat is a coil spring adjuster. To stiffin the car you turn the adjuster clockwise. Is the tire rubbing on the outside of the body or the inside?

I just read the old post where you asked about the tire and rim size. My suggestion was to use a 4 1/2" backspace instead of the 4" because you would have a problem with the tire rubbing. I recommended that you use the 50 series tire because the sidewall is shorter and might help with the backspace problem. The only other suggestion if adjusting the spring doesn't help is to buy a heavier spring or switch to coilovers. You will need to raise the rear of the car for clearance.

Well, I tried to send you a private message in reply to yours yesterday, but I'm not sure that that functioned, so I send it again here....
So, I need just one more precision : what are the length and diameter of the spring you're talking about, so that I compare with the one I've got?
In a first time, I think that I'm going to change the tires, to put 295/50/15, what do you think ?

The original springs were from a Chevette, they are an overload spring. It is a moog # CC631, 200lb. The springs measure 12" high by 5" diameter.
