Default Need Glass packs for sidepipes.

Anyone purchased glasspacks for their sidepipes.
I have the old restrictive sidepipes and I would like to upgrade.
Some other forums suggest JC whitney glasspacks. Anyone have any advice on this?

Glasspacks will probably work for about 500 miles till you need earplugs. You need a set of quality mufflers for your car. Look at Jegs or Summit for starters.

I built a new set of sidepipes for my Cobra this past winter and I used Lobaks for the mufflers. They are the spiral design! No glass to burn out and they sound VERY nice!! Not too loud and not too quiet!! Pics in my gallery!!

I had some performance mufflers built by Stainless Specialties last winter...
You can have them built to any size you want (both external and internal dimensions)... And, they are "stainless"...

Don did an article for Kit Car Builder not long ago on the subject. Try contacting them to get the issue.
