Smile little questions...

Hi everybody,
I'm the owner of a manufactured 1991 Classic Roadster, and I've questions for you :

1) What type of dise brake system can I use, (what mark) ? because I need to chang my dises and brake pads. I precise that I've got a 9'' Ford rear end.

2) Don't you think that 1991 CR have tendancy to heat ? Is it due to the original radiator and radiator fan ? What do you think about this, or have you got some advice ?

Ciao from Paris,

Thanks, bye

Domi

I have a '91 Classic Roadster also. I recently replaced the thermostat and I am having over heating problems, too. I may have to replace the 180 with a 160. I have bled the air from the system, but still have a fluctuating temp.

Domi, there are several brake kits available for the front and rear of your car. Wilwood makes an excellent setup as well as many other companies. Do you have a price range you want to stay within. You also need to make sure you have a 9" and not an 8.8 rear. That makes a difference in what you order.

If you have a cooling problem when the car is in traffic or moving slow that is the electric fan not moving enough air. If you have a problem when running on the road at speed then the problem is radiator capacity. We Changed to Griffin aluminum radiators with a larger capacity years ago. We also changed from the old black magic electric fans to Zirgo. They work great and will cool up to 450hp with no problem.

Domi, It's hard to tell from the picture. Can you send me a picture of the front and back side of the caliper. My e-mail is don@classicroadsters.com.
