Default griffin radiator and fan ?

Hello,

My car heats too much, so I want to change my radiator and fan. My car is a 1991 CR.

I know already that I'm going to take as fan a Zirgo 16'', on Don Scotts advice.

But I'm asking myself what type of radiator. I will order by Summit, but there are several references of Griffins radiator griffin (GRI-1-25222... ?) : which one must I choose ? Could you please give me the reference ? I join you the links, to explain what I mean :

Thanks for the information
Bye

Domi,

Try this one?

If it will fit it is probably the best.......

Best of luck,
Jeff

You can use a stock Griffin radiator but you will need to get a lower hose that makes a quick 90 degree bend up. The stock lower hose location sits a little to low otherwise. The Griffin 125222 will work, it's a GM style. We have our radiators made at Griffin and move the lower hose connection up to clear the rack. On the old CR car you will need to cut the bottom of the radiator support off. The new radiator sits on the frame rails instead of the saddles that were on the old style radiator surround. We sell the whole package including the radiator, fan, relay, and mount kit.
