What size mufflers in sidepipes ??

I want to upgrade the sidepipes on my Classic Roadster ( I have the old restrictive type).
I am thinking about splicing in a pair of Cobrapacks from Eric's Classic Chambered Exhaust.
Anyone using them ?? I have a robust 351W.-- 400HP
What muffler would be best, 2 1/2, or 3 inch flowpath, also with or without packing.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Right now I think that I have the world's quietest Cobra.

Ken,

I just installed a set of 2.5" packed Cobrapack mufflers on my 393 stroker. Eric from Classic Chambered Exhaust recommended the sizing. They look great, they're not quiet and I can definitely feel a performance improvement.
