CRII tubular upper control arms (need bushings)
I have a set of the upper tubular control arms supplied by Classic Roadsters II and need to get a set of new bushings. The ones that came with them got damaged during removal to get the arms powder coated.
Anybody have a source for these?
Thanks in advance!

What brand are they? Heidt or RCC.

Not sure. There's no markings on them. I think I'm going to have to measure the openings when they get back from the powder coaters and see what I can find.

Go here and take a look at their product. They are different than Heidt. RCC is the ones that CRII sold me.

Mine look real close to these (closer than the RCC link you gave me)

look at the 3rd item down. My cross shafts look identical to those.

I would have much rather had Heidt than RCC. Heidt bolts right up like stock. I had to make T-nuts and ream holes to align everything. Works ok now and a lot better than stock MII stuff.

Ed, The aftermarket set I recieved from CRII back in March '07 looks like the Heidt's unit. I would say you could get your bushings from them or Pete at CRII...888-722-6272. Good luck!

Well I did talk to Pete and he's trying to track them down. He said that they get the arms complete with the bushings and ball joints and have never sourced the bushings by themselves. I think I lucked out thought...
I sent a picture of one of mine to a guy at Heidt's and he thinks there his, but if they are not. He's sure he can get me bushings. On top of all that, I find out that they are based out of Illinois, only about 30 minutes from me

I think so. I found a guy down in Texas and after exchanging a few emails and phone calls he shipped me a set. Haven't had time to get them pressed back in, maybe this weekend.
Thanks for following up!
