Need Help
I am desperatly looking for side pipes for a classic kit No one answers phone, fax or e-mail @ classic I have talked to tubular automotive and they don't do classics kit Does anyone know who makes the pipes for classics? This is all that I need to finish up my car after 8 long years I want to have it on the road this spring. I am aware from seeing Don's post that there are some legal issues but customers should somehow be taken care of wether it is having someone else reply or something. This is not a good way to run a company. If anyone has an answer I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks:

Tubular may not have jigs to make a set for your car but I know they can build a set to fit. I realize that this is a pricey option and depending where your car is it's expensive to get it there too.
I use Tubular to build headers and sidepipes for all of my cars and each set has been spectacular!

Contact DV, via PM or e-mail , aka Double Venom aka Ed Combs that posted on:
HELP! Parts source for Classic Roadsters replica!!
He assembled a number of CR's and may have a source on the side pipes

Sorry,
I don't.
I THINK and only guesing but I think just about anyones "single total" sidepipe may fit. Any one selling or using a slip type header connection will NOT work. BUT I guarantee that the rear mounting bracket used by CR's is almost singular. Easy to weld on a bracket to fit the frame before you have the sidepipes finished.
Gas40, I totally understand your frustration but Don got caught up in something he has absolutely no control over. As stated per the attorney's he was told to go incognito for awhile. Trust that this is NOT the way he runs his company.....been there just got through it.
Sorry I can't be of more help, just make sure you can return what ever set you go with until you know it fits.

Tubular Automotive is about 8 miles from my house. I bought my first set of headers from them in 1969. WOW, does time fly.

Warren,
The issue right now is getting anything from CRII.
I know that I have read about some of the CR guys changing to a new style "better flowing" side pipe. Maybe one of them still has the old ones and are willing to let them go? Anybody?
