Finally, the end of the sage for the heli-coil inserts, (Lemans Cap base) Coils are now loaded up with Marglass. Remember to drill out the body one size over the coil size for the Marglass fill the holes also with Marglass and shove it all together while the Marglass is wet..

My way of striping-this is a sealer coat ;
Front and back of a 'too be' white stripe with an intermedaite coat of HOK clear

Hey DV
Do we need any kind of trim rings for where the shoulder straps come through the body? I've seen some somewhere, but not sure if we need them or not.
Finishline has these http://www.finishlineaccessories.com...f8620a4579245e
Let me know what you think...

Cpt...
Not used in a CR's. Seatbelts are all connected from the frame to the driver instead of bolting to fiberglass like a lot of Cobras!
Pretty cool talking about hooking seat belts up huh?

Ya!!! Now seeing paint going on. My mind is spinning with all the little details that still need to get done. Just trying to stay ahead of the game, if we need to source something coming into the home stretch

DefCon 3 - Fasten seat belts
Everyone wants to know how and why so long...
Body work-primer, wet sand-check body work re prime, wet sand- paint the center sealer, wet sand, mask off the stripe, seal the rest of the body....wet sand, put the first coat of color on..........wet sand.........
With pruned fingers, off to bed. Tomorrow, final color coat, unmask, check for errors..., clear coat -twice-cure then wet sand again in prerp for the final clear coat...

Well warm weather or possessed.... keep the pictures coming. I'm back in NJ most of next week, so a photo fix will help end out the days of regular work.
Thanks DV!!!
