Wetdog,
Let me know when you get your roll bar finished. Might end up copying you and order one from where ever you have yours made from.
Thanks,
Ed

Jeff, any 4-point wide roll bars? What size tubes? Left and or rights sides for the three points?

DV,
Just got off the phone with Woody at Nisonger about the gauges. He said he needs to know what fuel sender you want to use and he will provide the correct gauge.
Here's what I'm planning to get. It comes with the SpeedO, Tach, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, fuel and amp gauges. Plus all the sending units.
Nisonger Instruments :: the exclusive Smiths U.S. Warranty & Service Center since 1949
Call me or post what fuel sender you want to use and I'll get these ordered today. Anything else you need before next Saturday?
Cheers,
Ed

Ed it doesn't really matter as long as it matches there fuel gauge. Hopefully the fuel sender will have the standard bolt pattern?
I've got your custom pick up already made and welded in. Your AN fittings come right off the side of the tank- very cool. ( That idea came from the Calfornia guy! Tank is now mounted along with the front end-brake lines fuel lines today....
DV
Would take pictures but now my olympus camera took a dump too- geezh, what next!

What!!! no pictures! Well I can fix that. Just made a quick stop over at Amazon.com, so keep an eye out for a delivery in the next day or 2 Don't forget we planned on documenting this build in hopes of a new/improved manual one day.
The gauges along with all the sending units are ordered and will make the trip with me and the body on June 7th.
Let me know if there's anything else you need
Cheers,
Ed

Wetdog,
Let me know when you get your bar finished. I think I'm going to back to the single bar look, for the sake of time (and maybe cost). I'd be interested in a plain steel version. I'll get it powder coated for the finish.
Thanks,
Ed

Ok DV....
I'm all loaded up and ready to hit the road early tomorrow morning. After this trip. You will have everything I have, except the motor, tranny, headers and side pipes.
I talked to Woody about the gauges and he said they should ship today. I also talk with my rat rod guy and he said the rear lower arms will be done next week, now that he got his show car out the door. I'll get them straight to my powder coater and have him put a rush finish on them.
The body looks really good. It still needs the spillage well glassed in, so if you want to use mine to make a mold...go for it. There also is some fine tuning around the nose opening and vent inlets on the front.
See you tomorrow. Hopefully around 11 your time if traffic and weather plays in my favor.
Ed

What other parts are you in need of? I've sourced a lot of the things I didn't get from CRII. Let me know if I can help.

LOL (a pony)!!!
OK
I have front coil overs (never used) and maybe rears too. Let me see after I meet with DV tomorrow. If my bank account holds out, maybe I'll swap out the rear coil overs before the car hits the street.
filler neck? Are you planning on using a inline neck? If so, I got one from Summit. I'll post the part #.
Windshield wiper unit? Got mine from FinishLine. Again I'll talk with DV tomorrow and if it looks like the one I got is the right one, I'll pass along the part numbers.
Talk to DV about the soft top.

Awesome DV! You do enjoy playing with that hoist...
Here's what's coming over next.
Probably not going to make it back to your place next Saturday. (damn 4 letter word called "work") Now thinking on bringing the engine and tranny over on the 21st.

Does this mean I need to make sure the body bolts are tight?
Need another part modification; the "Dropped" Flaming river bracket is going to be too long. I think we had measured 4"s? Need to go one inch less no matter what we had!
Defroster duct hits the plate I put in and would rather keep a full duct for you!
DV
My, my, my, I volunteer whenever, to put the EFI Inglese Webers on it! Just put DV on the title

We measured 4" so I'll order a 3" instead. Need to call FR tomorrow to make sure I get the right u-joints, so I'll order the drop bracket at the same time.
and yes...
make sure the body bolts are tight
