DV,
Do you know who might have a soft top set up for a CRII body? I would like to look into side curtains for same.

Jim,
The tops turned into a large disappointment for me. One of the guys sent me his top for copies, the upholsterer screwed around so long after the "be done date" I did as I said, took them back and sent them home. Bottom line is I am no better off now than I was!

Ed,
Thanks again for a quick (and knowledgable) reply. Reading between the lines I'm going to assume that no other kit manufacturers tops fit the CRII body.
P.S. The Cobra starts every time now.
Jim

Jim,
I think "EMERSON" windows may fit since they are a CR Cobra. He's one of the sponsors on the site. Congrats on the fix!

Trying DV. Not stalling, but I had my camera set to "high quality" mode and the video is 230+MB in size. Trying to figure out how to scale it down.

OK...
Was able to get the video size down to around 19Mb. Still pretty big. DV let the video start to stream and take a break for lunch, should be done loading when you get back (Sorry bad dial-up connection humor )
Trying to get it on YouTube now and see if that any better. Here it is on my web server. http://www.ferguson-motorsports.com/page7/page7.html
Here's the YouTube version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ibc2MMZ1L1U
Enjoy!!!

Which one? Mine or the YouTube version?
Mine is Quicktime format and you might need that installed on your PC. Try the YouTube link instead.

Does the CR I and the CR II have exactly the same body, side curtains and top ?

copteddie,
dam, it still gives me goose bumps. New speaker system is so loud I had to turn it down.
It took me a minute to realise the fans in the background weren't the engine, right up to the point where you heard the engine turn over. Key will be nice instead of hot wiring it!
U-tube came right up.
Take care Sir, and rest easy the auto fan is "automatically" working, the temp is working, the leaks have all stoppped, Brake time, drive shaft and then the body!
This will give you something to watch when the snow fly's!

LOL I know.
The wife came into the room last night and said "are you re-playing that video again?"
Glad to hear the water temp is OK. Made me a little nervous that we didn't get any movement on the gauge. Do you know where we are at with a temp on a warmed up motor?
I'm putting a check list together, now that we're getting to the home stretch. I'll e-mail it over to you and let me know if I missed anything.
Any new info on the roll bar tubing?
Cheers!!! and thanks DV!!!

Not to de-rail or distract from the little beast DV is working on. I have another small project I've been working on.
Before
After
Think you'd be hard pressed to find another F150 with a front end like this. The factory headlights are blacked out, also.

cpteddie-nice truck, but...
take a look at the picture you took of me putting your steering shaft together. See the top of the firewall just above the booster? Add 2&1/4 inches and that will be to the top of your hood stop! Thusly your hood is going to be at least 2"s if not 3"s from closing. Still want me to up the scoop? Your call. If you want me to "up" it do you want me to make it longer too so a COBRA-long airfilter will work? Shades of Huckelberry, only a little bit smaller.

Crap!!! I was really hoping we'd get lucky and not have to modify the hood.
Go ahead and do what you need to do to make it fit. Also make it so we can switch to the bigger oval cobra air cleaner.
Thanks DV!!!
