DV......since it has been a few years, would you still use the Viper engine or ?, for the exotic Cobra, i.e. an engine other than a Ford SB or BB ?

Don,
The Viper "total" engine weight is not much more, if at all from a 351. Yes I would certainly use the Viper engine again- the torque is simply amazing! Of course the thumpty-thump of a good 351 stroker is something to behold!

DV,
I took mine out today for it's first real drive. I had to go to State Farm to have pictures done for insurance. I drove it around for about 1/2 hour. The 351W, 352 hp and 414 torque went well. Third gear about 50 miles an hour and romped on it a little and it felt like the front end wanted to come off of the ground. That was only about 1/2 throttle. The motor that Don Scott built for me is great. Thanks Don. Hope everything works out for you.

kawika, and anyone else I too am in the same boat ..shorted parts ! the good news is that you proabably wouldn't use the stuff they gave you ! if you cant make your own I have alot of part numbers saved feel free to PM me . We are all in the brotherhood together . It sucks to pay twice for stuff but except for a few cr specific items you would not want their stuff on your dream car. WD
