Default New Paint Job

Thought I would share. Roll bar, side pipes and inner portion of Halibrands will be powder coated black. What do you think?

Curt,
Always good to share! (Watch the inner ring that goes on the spindle or the rear hub.) If they powder coated the inside of the hub it's going to ve tight, if not too tight!
Just another 2C's.

Very nice color scheme, who did the work and how much did it set you back?

Curt,
Just realized your paint puictures could be brought up a size ot two. Congatulations to your or your painter, that color is one big piece of nightmare to do and he/she did it with excellene!
Now seeing one hole on the passanger side for the roll bar only makes me wonder if it is set for a left and right three-pointer or for an infamous four-pointer?
Once again-be proud!
DV

Ed,

This was an insurance job. I got into a minor fender bender. Zero frame / mechanical but the hit sent ripples through the fiber glass in the rear. We could not locate a rear clip so I purchased a whole new body from CR in Canada. Tom's Motorsports is handling the body RR and a guy that does contract work for him did the paint. I will get the exact name of the painter and advise if you would like. Cost - around $8,500. DV, yes the paint work is great. In fact it is flawless. When it is all done with the accessories back in place I will post another pic. DV, my roll bar is a custom 4 point. See my gallery.

Hey Curt,

Maybe you can do me a big favor while you still have the trim off your car? Can you supply me with the measurements for the front and rear tubes that the bumpers mount to? DV says the rears and fronts are different lengths and I need to find someone to machine me a set out of aluminum.

Any help/info you can get me is greatly appreciated!!!

capteddie,
According to the manual, you need (4) 8" spacers for the front and (4) 6 3/4" spacers for the rear. All of the spacers are 1 1/4" od with a clearance hole for a 1/2" bolt.
