Smile dash toggle switches

I have a classic roadster that I am building. I cant find the toggle switches for the dash that the manual calls for. A. First switch, 2 position, 2 pole, B. Second switch, 3 position, 4 pole and C. third switch, 3 position, 4 pole. Any help, I thought they would be easy to find. Not even sure what they switch.
I did talk to ffcobra and cobrarestorers, dont carry b & C
Thanks Jay

You need to get a little more basic here.

How are you going to wire the car? If you try to follow the manual it is going to be an uphill battle all the way.

Look in to a painless wiring harness. Worth every penny!!!! They have a 12 circuit harness that will do your car just great. As that is installed it will become clear just what switches you need and you can purchase them. Lots of stuff on the market.

Here's a good source for switches. They also have a good explaination of what the various switches do.
http://performanceunlimited.com/cobr...eswitches.html

Once you determine what types of switches you need, you can also go to Radio Shack. The bigger stores have a full array of duckbill switches that look very close to the original Lucas switches.

Jay,
That is the question, do you have an early CR's harness that the wires are all in a nylon loom, or a later version which all came with a "HIGHWAY 15" harness. I think I have used about every harnes on the market....."Highway 15"-American Wiring has all positives that I can see. Each wire is printed about every 10"s AND it wont rub off like a lot of harness's do!

Thank you for the help. The wire harnness that came with the car (I believe it came from classic roadster) the wire are numbered every inch or so. Is this the highway 15 or is this the harness I dont want to use. Most has gone easy so far until the switches. Again thanks for all the help. Jay

Jay,
There is nothing wrong with the CR harness! but if you do not have a manual, that is the first thing you need to find! It will tell you where and how each switch is mounted and what it is used for.
DV

Memory (?)
1 switch- parking-headlights
2 heater switch
3 wiper switch
4-on/off- acccesory that you may want to hook up to ?
Put another switch in for a manual overide ON switch for the engine fan. Use the auto on engine switch but put the above in in case of failure

TT
Finish Lines don't match up with a CR harness- more for a FF Cobra.

Yeah you are right,
We deal with In house harnesses, so the connector is supplied by us per application, so we just use the switches and make them work.

Jay,

If you don't mind me asking, did you end of getting them from Finish Line or elsewhere? I also have an original harness and I do have all the original switches but I'd like to use lit switches (led). Just checking out my options.

Thanks.
