Default New member needing help

Hi I'm new to the forum. I have the stage I of a classic roadsters cobra that I had been given by a friend when he moved away a couple of years ago. My question is simply this am I looking at a lawn ornament or will I be able to get a body and finish this kit? Any help would be great. Thanks

Welcome Dakota, - if there is help available, i am sure you will find it here. --

do you have any paperwork that came with the project >?

Maybe someone can guide you on classic roadsters pattern car and if you need a classic roadsters body , or if something else will work.

Dakota...
Direct answers to your questions. You obviously have a fair idea of what has happened to CR's to this point, but lets try and move on. Ist and foremost do you have an MSO, not a receipt, nor a shipping order but an actual MSO?
Second, as it stands right now if you don't have a body the easiest thing to do is sell what you have starting right here and move on to E-bay?
IF you have an MSO and are willing to wait a little longer (time frame?) wait to see what happens while CR's finishes up their "filed" bankruptcy-please beware of anyone that promises you anything but wants a check first! Check here first since this is your first post you will find all the help and honest information you need-if some one trys to pull something over on you the rest of this family will hurt them!

Usually MSO's aren't issued until all three phases of the kit are paid for and shipped. ???
DV

PS.. to keep you on track there is NOT another "Kit" Cobra body that will interchange with CR's Frame- INCLUDING AN 'EMERSON'!

DV thanks for the great info. It's very helpful and kind of what I was expecting but not hoping for. As far as the MSO I couldn't find one in the paperwork that I have and I talked to my friend that I got the kit from and he doesn't remeber having one. The first stage is the only stage he paid for so maybe that's why there's not an MSO. Sounds like I'll have to do an inventory and get the stuff up for sale to fund a new project.
