New FFR Owner
Hello everyone, I am a the new owner of FFR #5089.
I had been planning to build one myself, but this right opportunity presented itself at just the right time & I ended up purchasing #5089 for much less than it would of cost me to build it.
I'm very happy with it, looks like the builder was also a tall guy, since he had a couple of the "big guy" mods that I would've done.
I'm not really sure who is happier with 5089, me or my wife
She really likes the car & is dying to go out driving & go to meets & such. I'm positive that she would not of been so excited if I would've gotten a Vette or something like that.

I know what you mean. This has been the second hottest summer since they have kept records here in Texas. At least now we are getting a little of the rain Y'all have been hoarding. We have been in a two year drought in Central Texas.
I'll be in the North Palm Beach area after Christmas. Richard, Dana Y'all out there?

Hey, buying an already completed car makes a WHOLE lot of financial sense (as much as can be said for these cars!). Now you get to go enjoy it.
So: what's the first mod going to be?!

Welcome to CC and the world of Cobras and replicas. I've seen you posting on FFCOBRA already.
Don't think that just because you bought a complete car that you won't be spending money on it though. These things are a financial pit.

Buenos Dias "Ocho" - I live in the south Gables by UM. Once the rainy season ends a couple of us frequently head down to the Keys (Old Cutler south, pass the Homestead AF base, the Homestead Speedway, and Card Sound Road - to Key Largo). Have made a couple of runs to Key West for lunch, then back. One buddy has a Unique 427 and the other a Backdraft. Send me a PM if you want to join the group for a run. Saludos, Rick

yeah, atleast now I have things to put on my X-mas wish list to the Mrs. LOL. The car is pretty complete, but there is always room for growth.
