Welcome here Dan! This is a much better place for Cobra info than Team Shelby.

Thanks Tim.
She's getting a T5 gearbox. Nothing else added that's unusual. I did add a quick release steering wheel. The cars hard enough to climb in so we added that option.
Here's a pic of the cockpit.

Thanks AJ. Oh man I tossed and turned over which gearbox to go with.
Toploader/T5..........toploader/T5. I finally went T5 for the hwy driving.
Hope I don't regret it.

Here's a pic of my buddy's car. It's 7505 and she was just finished last week. This car and mine were built through Shelby at the same time and have identical engines from the same engine builder. Trying to save a little money doing them together.
I think this is the BEST looking Cobra I have ever seen. Just my .02

Went with a 347/Webers and Tremec 5 spd, you will like the 5 spd. My rear is a 3.54; at 65 in 5th I am running around 2200 RPM's. Good range to be in. Oh, and I put on a 4spd knob, no one knows if is or isn't.

Modified Slab Side w/hardtop, very nice! One of my favorite configurations.

I also went with 3.54 in the rear. 65 in 5th and running 2200 rpm's sounds perfect, thanks.

Can you find out from him if the hardtop was made by shelby or is it an aftermarket piece? I would love one just like that for my 427 (csx4910) but cannot find anyone that can do one exactly for that car. Let me know if you can.
Thanks
Ron
