just saying hi
Hello, this is my first post so bear w/me if I mess up. I just got a factory five complete kit and boy do I have questions. So, if anyone is willing to put up with what will probably be dumb questions please let me know. I live in Bulverde, tx and do not know anyone locally to call on. If there is a local group please let me know. Thanks

Welcome. There are plenty of people here in your state, but Texas is so big, I don't know how close. Also there is a FFR website in addition to this site. I'm sure you will find a lot of people willing to help out.
Get some real good drill bits for riveting the panel on. It will make life easier, but if you need more exercise use dull bits.

As Olddog said, make sure you go to ffcars.com and between the two you will get all your answers.

Steve, he said Bulverde. Looks like it is north of San Antonio on 281 and southwest of Canyon Lake....about midway between the two.
Bob, welcome to Club Cobra. For a Factory Five, you are going to find more help with questions about the kit on ffcars.com. That forum is 95% Factory Five.
But, you are always welcome here anytime. Welcome to the madness

just get a drill bit sharpener, cuts down by a lot on the # of bits required plus it is readily available anytime and it comes in handy after your done. Sears has a decent one.
