Yeah sure, stop by and visit. How did the Inspection go?

We just pulled the white fastback inside last weekend, it needs a total clean up, new interior, new paint and chrome. We would like to have it on the road next spring. The kids want to take moms fastback to car shows.

I found another new guy at the limerick sunoco, a Mr. Meyers with a black cobra & gold stripes, very nice looking cobra and a nice guy to talk cars with.

regards, karl

Inspection passed the second time around. 1st time was interesting to say the least. Used blast from the past on highstreet. Awesome guy, great shop, and they know and understand our cars well.

Second time around? Did you have to take it back to Blast from the Past a second time, or are you speaking of the guy you went to the first time that had no real clue as to what he was looking at?

You Philly guys are making me homesick. I lived in Chester Springs for 9 years, just off 401 and southwest of 113, but been overseas for 6 years now and currently in China.

Sold the house, airplanes (still have the hangar at Brandywine, so a place to keep the Cobra when/if I come back there), paid a fortune to my ex wife after she left for another airplane guy, now reaquiring lots of things including my first Cobra, which is sitting patiently in the garage in Idaho waiting for me to get back.

I'm dying to get back from China and start driving it around, and can't think of many better places than some of the great small and winding roads around Chester County. And, it's great to know there are a bunch of you guys around there to look up when I end up there again, although not sure when that might be.

Hey, The new guy I Wish visited my place last week, he is a real nice guy and his factory five cobra is very nice, he does not like the seats that stick up out of the passenger compartment and he would like to change to original style seats. Overall a real nice cobra.

Maybe we could cruise over to chester springs to see the new kirkham FIA.

When this heat wave goes away we can pick Hill Top Drive In or Specks Drive In so everyone can meet the new guys.

Later, karl

That sounds great. My car should be here this week, but not on the road for awhile. I guess I'll show up in the daily driver, but no laughing!!!

Sounds like a plan.
I am waiting on a part to come in. But should be back in action by the time it cools down a little.

Thanks, JBCobra! I'm working on an exit plan now and expect to be back to Idaho early next year and maybe Chester county later depending on career opportunities. I have to pay for all the things I'm buying back now (up to 4 cars now, car trailer, looking at airplanes now, should think about a house, too....ha ha.

Hope to meet you all soon.

What is the ETA on that FIA to Chester Springs? The heat wave is breaking and we need to get some mileage on these cars.

Default Just got my Superformance

I didn't realize there were so many owners in the Chester County area. I just got my big block Malachite Green Superfomance roadster last weekend. I'm the former owner of CSX 3159. It was the Baldwin Motion King cobra. I restored it back to street trim years ago and sold it in 1981. Took me a while, but I'm back in the Cobra ranks.

Received on Tuesday! Was going to install the engine this weekend, but just discovered that the vendor I got my tko600 from cut the rear mount off. Just happens to be the one Kirkham uses to mount the tranny! However, they are great and shipped a new tail shaft to me today and I should have it in a couple of days. It's always something...but, I'm psyched to have the car!

Here she is in the garage:

Hey Bill, thanks, I completely missed Mark's thread and fotos. Mark sent me a PM with the link so now I am up to date. I'm gonna take a ride over to see the FIA Cobra some time in the next couple days.
Anyone else want to drive along?
