Default New boy in town

Hey all

Just by way of introduction, I'm new to Houston area, bringing the little lady over with me from England, Thought you might all be interested in her. I will be looking for info in the near future on getting her into the country and legalised. Once thats done I will be starting to collect parts for major overhaul. She has been in storage for 2 years and I need her looking her best and where better to do it than in the states with such a large & cheap parts bin at hand. I need to make some mods to make it easier to source parts locally for when I break her. It happens.

Going to need motivation at points and a good new buddy who can weld, no other real qualifications other than a sense of humor and someone who can keep up once were on the road.

Hope you like the pics

Richard

Mods on the list are:-
Front upright change to something to carry bigger brakes, possibly mustang?
Engine, something ford with corresponding tranny, not looking for excessive HP, just something to make me smile.
Jag XJ6 IRS, shortened.

Implications of those changes:-

Major chassis mods
Major interior mods
New wheels
New fuel tank
New exhausts

Dont know if to leave it right hand drive or change to wrong hand drive as every thing has to go anyway.

I built it 12 years ago and it has been stood in storage (working away from home) for 2 years so is going to need some attention anyway. It will be a good first winter project when she arrives here.

With that many changes in store i have to wonder if you would be better off just selling it and getting the one you want, unless of course you have an emmotional attachment to that one, no one on here has such an emmotional attachment
