Default Watch Out! (new) Woman Driver

Hi,

I'm new to the forum. Had a great time meeting the many owners and enthusiasts at LCS this weekend. Looking forward to getting to know the Ohio Cobra Club members even better. Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Elizabeth

Hey Elizabeth you do realize these cars are an ‘old bloke magnet’ don’t you? Although I had one the other day who said it may be music to your ears but it certainly isn’t to mine. I politely told him to turn his hearing aid down, I didn’t yell at him so I doubt he heard me.

Elizabeth,

Were you the one biding on the Dana 44?

I think you parked beside me at Quaker Steak and Lube Friday afternoon.

Yes, that was me bidding on the Dana 44. I don't really NEED a new rear end, but who doesn't need a few spare parts and projects for the future.

I was also at Quaker Steak on Friday - Navy and Silver Midstate w/ 351 C.

Drive it Like I stole it. Funny, thats what I tell people when they ask if its my car

Pete, it was lovely meeting you and your wife and kids. Dusty, keep building beautiful cars. - thank you all for the warm welcome.

I thought so. We talked briefly on Friday. My car was the solid black one, to your left.

I had suspected it was your car. I like the 351 C. Over the years, I would say they are as rare as the 460 block at the London show. Nice car.

Welcome to the madness. Enjoy!
