These are all personal preferences. I guess I should have clarified that the 3200 cars did not have dual quads. The personalization you are talking about is called s/cing...taking a street car (427/428 engine, undercar exhaust, street gas cap, no hood scoop, no roll bar)...there were no street cars I have seen with the s/c gas cap. Only reason they were changed was when someone took a street car and made in into an s/c (most were).
I have had my Sunburst rims on for 5+ years. No issues at all. I have Goodyear tires that look awesome and fill the well nice.
When you read and research don't take everything as gospel.
Different stroked for different volks.

It was a balmy 37 degrees today, so I went for a drive....brrrrr...snapped a couple of quick shots.

The engine was happy, but I felt like John Candy and Steve Martin in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Very nice. What is a source for the "Cobra Powered by Ford" sticker on the air cleaner?

I think I got that one from Branda. I was thinking of putting the orange 427 Hi-Po on instead....not sure yet. I'll take pictures of both and take a poll
Colin Comer told me that this is the correct decal but others here disputed that. I have seen the Autolite Spark Plug decal on an original street car as well. I have also seen them with no decals.
I am sure that they stuck on whatever was available and hanging around the shop. It just gets down to what a "new" owner likes and feels is correct for his car.

gumdall ralley is my favorite car movie
I have the daytona but I missed the cobra when it was affordable
your cobra looks like mine, you just need the proper gas cap . I removed my waffle maker gas cap the instant I bought my contemporary cobra
and the
hoop
scoop
pipes
and stripes
I would post photos but I can't post big photos on this sight?????????
