I don't think the City of Berkeley allows Cobras within the City limits. I was under the impression that all cars must be powered by twigs and berries. Are you sure you're not located in Oakland or maybe San Leandro?
Welcome.

On another note, I did a search for local recommendations for mechanics and didn't find a lot of thread results. Any recommendations would be great...thanks!

Will look for you the next time our UCLA Bruins stop in to slap your Bears around! You won't find a Bruin wearing Birkenstocks!

Good Man! You were raised right. My Dad went to Stanford and Son is at UCLA now.
Keep that Cobra out of the "weeds"!

So my father comes over and sees my car. Tells me it's been a dream car for him since he first saw it in a magazine in the '60's. I had no idea. But how can I let that comment slide? It actually haunted me for about a week until I decided to do something about it...I bought him one. SPO 2755. It's a 10th anniversary Super and was told the original owner was fairly involved in local Cobra clubs. Was it anyone here? It's a beauty, roush 427r, and purrs even nicer than mine. I gave my dad the choice of whichever one he wanted between his and mine and, of course he chose 2755! Which is, in the end, as it should be...
Cheers

Hi!
Your father have a good taste :-) Is it a red or a silver one? Which number?
Have a 10th anniversary too and even with a Roush 427R. Still like it a lot after 4000 mountain miles :-)
Greetings from Europe
Peter

Hey Peter, it's the silver with grey stripe. #2755. Well, I took a gamble on the color as it was a surprise...but it paid off as he absolutely loves the color. As did my mother, which is just as important.
