Default Greetings from Bavaria

Hi to all,

my name is Jurgen and I fullfilled, as many of you, the dream of owning a cobra.

Born and currently living in the wonderful Bavarian woods (in the corner of Austria and Czech), Germany. I used to live in Denver, Co for about 13 years and fell in love with Americann cars (V8s).

hmm - what else. Work in the IT field and love motorsports, which I have been actively involved on 2 and 4 wheels.

I wanted to say thanks for all the information, that I have read in this forum already and look forward to many more interesting threads.

I am more than happy to answer questions about BMW cars as a side note.

Keep the shiny side up

Laters

Jürgen W.

Jurgen,

Welcome and you live in a beautiful place. Post some pictures of your Cobra when you have a chance along with some of the scenery along the roads there.

Ron

Thanks - will do, right now it's nasty cold and rainy but spring will come and I can't wait to track some backroads here in ol'Bavaria.

I still have to complete some official registration stuff regards to the Cobra and hope to have everything done by the time warm sunshine is coming out.

Sooner or later, I am sure to bug you with some newbie questions, however I will try to find answers first in the forum.

Merry X-mas to everyone

Laters

Jürgen

Welcome to the site Jurgen. It's funny but during the 1990's while working as a contractor for the US Air Force I lived in western Germany for 4 years over by Wittlich. My first encounter with a Cobra replica was in Wittlich at the annual pig fest. Beautiful blue with white stripes. I never got to meet the owner but I fell in love with that car. The memory of that car is what finally pushed me into buying mine. You have the best of both worlds when it comes to roads. Back roads for the thrill of curves and the autobahn with no speed limit. Bet you can't wait until the spring when the snow and fog are gone.

Enjoy.........Don
