HI new hear
HI Paul here from nutley n.j. I have built and restored about 8 cars. I have never done a kit, let alone a cobra. A friend asked if i would build one for him. Before i make any big mistakes, i would like to know if anyone has used,Antique & collectible autos in Buffalo N.Y. I noticed 4 or 5 kit car manufacturers, but not the one above. I have a budget of $37000.00 to $40,000.00. Any advise would be extremely helpful. Thankyou in advance for your help.

Paul,
Welcome to the madness. Find your local Cobra Club. You usually can see many brands and you can talk to the owners about their experiences. I am sure you can get some rides and sit in the seats for fit as well.
Either way have a great build. Lots of people here to help you spend your money.

There is a forum here at Club Cobra for A & C owners
Go to Forums and select Antique & Collectibles
A & C is a great choice for a kit, their gel coat bodies are right up there with the best.
There are many A & C owners that are on this site, all would be great sources for advice and help with the build.
Good luck with your choice
Feel free to ask for more info

Hey Paul,
Roscoe here. I have an A&C I built 14 years ago and it is still running strong. Original gelcoat still looks like paint and I saved a ton of time and money not having to paint it. I understand Bill K gave you my cell so don't hesitate to give me a call. You can come over to check out the car; I'm in Fairfield.
Check out my build site at Cobra Project Page
By the way, my wife works in Nutley for the eye surgeon across from the PD.
