New Cobra Owner In Phoenix, AZ- SPF 751
So this is the third time I've sent this intro thread so hopefully leaving pictures out gets this on the board. My name is Mike and I just purchased my first cobra- SPF751 from an owner out in Houston Texas. It's a 427 FE car- blue with white stripes. I've been around high performance Fords all my life. I've had several mustangs and currently also have a 2011 GT500 with around 700whp. I've dreamed of having a cobra since I was a kid and am thankful to have the opportunity to see that come true. I've lurked around this forum for years and look forward to contributing where I can.
Car is on a Reliable Carrier hauler right now coming from Houston. Ironically it's sharing a ride with some of Lady Gaga's cars that are heading back west after the Super Bowl (two rolls royce's and a lambo according to the driver). Super stoked to get delivery of the car tomorrow and look forward to meeting some of the Cobra guys here in AZ and out west.

Hey Mike good to hear from you. Lots of great Cobra guys here in AZ. We have a place here on the forum where we help, abuse and help abuse one another. If you are able to get out to Fountain Hills this Saturday there will be 20+ of us out there.
Sounds like a nice car and always good to have another FE around.

Thanks Mike- much appreciated. I've been reading about the Fountain Hills event and unfortunately I'm going to be out of town. It looks like a blast and if I was here I'd be there for sure. Look forward to meeting up with you guys as I'm in the Arcadia area and pretty centrally located.

Welcome to the MADNESS!
AZ Cobra Club synopsis:
No meetings
No officers
No dues
1 Rule: "there are no rules"
Ya can't swing a dead cat, without hitting a "Mike"...or a "Mustang"
If you're going to be available Sunday, keep an eye on the club page. Some of us will be taking a ride, somewhere.
If you are not available for that, you are welcome to join a few of us that gather every Tuesday, about 5pm, at Padre Murphy's, NW corner of 43rd Ave and Bell, behind the O'Reilly's. Decent food, well above regular bar food, good atmosphere, and good service. Lots of BS.
Send your Name, eMail adddress, car info, shirt size, phone # (if you want), to Joe Bria, who blasts out eMails of most of our various runs and events. likenu2@cox.met
PS
DO NOT take ANYTHING anyone in an Orange Cobra sez, as gospel.

Welcome Mike. The club runs are the best. These crazy guys get up to some crazy adventures. Beware the orange cobra and don't take directions from Uncle Carlos. Hahaha. Can't wait to meet you and your car.

Will do- I'll fire him an email now. Padre Murphy's- not far from my office near the Deer Valley airport- a great excuse to drive the cobra to work on Tuesdays! Thank you.

Mike,
Welcome to the site and I believe that you have to have a certain number of posts before you can embed a picture or video.

Congratulations Mike, on realizing your Cobra dream. I've owned my Superformance Cobra since 2009 and love it. You should consider joining the Superformance Cobra Owners Forum (SCOF).
For the curious, here are some photos of SP00751 from its recent Cobra Country listing:

Welcome aboard. Just made a trip to Phoenix for the Barrett Jackson event and the weather was almost nice enough to actually drive the car, unlike Chicago. Be sure to do an inspection of nuts and bolts, spinners, etc. before any serious driving takes place. Feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns.

Thanks for the welcome! The Barrett jackson weather was terrible this year. It sure did get nice a few weeks later for the phoenix open though.
For sure on the inspection- I'm swapping out the wheels and tires next week and taking care of a few minor things that it needs.
