Got home from CA on SAturday eve. Yesterday I covered my check and activated my Hagerty Insurance. It feels real now! It should arrive here in a week or ten days with any luck.

Woo hoo!

My Lotus 7 Replica dedicated Autocrosser is sold and gone now. I can concentrate on my Cobra now.

40+ years ago I was thinking of buying a Europa. I'm about 6'3" and was around 160 lbs. back then and entry/exit required far too many contortions. I'm far from heavy now, but certainly nowhere near 160 lbs., so a Europa is definitely not in my future.

I don't know who Colin Chapman had in mind with the Europa, but it certainly wasn't me!

I recently rode in an Elise at an autocross. It had a fixed roof so probaly it was an Exchige. It was tricky for a 68 year old man who is 5' 8 and 205# but I wriggled in and out of it. Its pretty tough getting out of my cobra too but worth the effort.

Your Cobra looks amazing just the way it is, ESPECIALLY with that 8 stack sticking through the hood. Looks bad ass.

Thanks! I agree. I am working on usability issues. Aesthetically I like it as is.
