Have you considered donating it to a museum? Some individual collector may give you some money for it, but noone will ever see it. There is a Shelby museum in Boulder -Shelby American Collection - that I'm sure would appreciate the donation and people would see the keepsake. They have so much stuff and contact with all of the remaining Shelby drivers/staff that they probably have something of your dad's there already. In fact, I'm not sure he wasn't there at one of the parties but there are so many and I can't remember everyone. I can put you in contact with the person there if you want.
