Cool Heat shield ? Tpraceman - Tom new SF 427 FE

Hello all, new to me, SF Cobra Alum block 427FE 5sp Titanium with black stripes.
Michigan

Going to need heat shield for wife.
What does everyone recommend for best shield?
Looks important of course as well.

Shell Valley sells some nice ones and they support this site. There are a number to choose from. By the way welcome to the forum.

Find an inexpensive welding blanket on Amazon or EPay. Trim it to fit your application. Drape it over your side pipe(s). Viola!! Problem solved.

I have the SPF heat shields on my side pipes. You can still burn your leg, not as bad.

I really think the welding blanket is really the way to go from both a looks and functional aspect. You can actually mount one edge to the body of the car and yo only need enough material to cover the pipe. When done, it rolls into the area alongside the seat.
