Default Who knows about the relative size of replicas?

Hello!
Long time visitor, first time writer...I have been following Cobra replicas for a very long time. I have reached a time in my life where I can now responsibly pursue a build or purchase of one of these machines. I have a good handle on the mechanical part of a replica, and my brother has had a Classic Cobra for a few years that I am very familiar with, but I have one question that I know someone out there has enough experience to answer...where can I get info on the relative interior/exterior size of the different manufacturer's cars? It's not that I am a very large person (6', 195lbs), but some of the replicas are way too small in the interior for me to seriously consider! Now, I must say that the Classic Cobra is livable and works fine for me. Any others out there? I have to say that I need to be able to see under the top rail of the windshield and would like a sensible footbox and decent shifter position. I suppose that I also need to say that total originality concerning the overall size of the car is really not critical to me...just that it is proportionately similar. Who makes these cars? Thanks.

Anthem motorsports might be the closest dealer for BDR.
Their car is a little longer and wider than the original. I've heard good things about them if originality isn't a concern.

buckthorne, you are a midget.

I'm 6' 5" and weight about 300, and I fit in my Superformance. I did do a few modifications that really helped. Let me know if you want to know what I did to my SPF.

There are about a dozen different manufacturers with wheelbases longer than the standard 90 inches. But at your size, you should fit in vertually all brands. Do not rule out any brands until you have sit in that car.

I have a list of manufacturers and their contact info on another thread.

WTM442,

I'd like to know what you did. I'm always in favor of a little more room.
