Default What do I (almost) have?

Hey All, I am an Australian newbie and have been tempted with a Cobra. I know it is not an original, it has a fiberglass body with a tag on the firewall "Contemporary Classics Mt. Vernon NY" and serial #3164.
It has 2 carbs (at least 2 air filters) and the Rocker (valve) covers have SC Shelby on them.
The chassis is 4" tube, the wheels are knock offs and apart from that I have a few photos if anybody can help.
Thanks
Alan

Contemporary Cobras were very nice fairly accurate cars. No longer in business. Lots of Contemporary owners on this website who will respond.

Comtemporary were/are excellent replicas. I have number 3209. They were generally made with Type II Jaguar XKE running/steering gear. The frame is a bit more rigid than the original which is a good thing. Pictures would be a good thing. I'm a bit puzzled. I've never heard of SC Shelby. Are you sure it's not "CS SHELBY"?

Yes you are right. It is cs intertwined followed by Shelby. Does that signify a particular engine build?

No, just the valve cover the owner/builder chose to put on the engine.

Pictures would certainly help a lot. Can you email them? I'd like to see what you have.
