Newbie
Good afternoon, have been lurking in the back ground and am in the process of narrowing down the company I want to build my Cobra. I will not do so until my 3 are out of college - 2- 3 years away. In the mean time I want to decide on a builder , visit the shop, and if possible talk with people who have built a kit and gleen whatever I can in the form of advice, recommendations, and what to stay away from. Currently I am an educator in the middle school in Michigan (Allendale) and drive a '67 Camaro which I will be selling to finance my Cobra. As they say- I am on a mission and look forward to the adventure. Cheers!

I bought my FFR Cobra used, but I was gearing up to have Gordon Levy build one for me. Check out his site and the reviews on FFCobra.com site. I think he has built over 200 Cobras. LevyRacing: The Story
Welcome to the madness.

Welcome, I was an observer for some months, went to the London Cobra Show in June 2007 and decided I was going to scratch build my Cobra, I also live in Mi., up in Alpena. Check out FFR and send for their catalog and CD, and check out all the mfgs, they all have their good points. I also ordered a couple build manuals and looked at what they have on the net. LOL pm me if you would care to talk sometime. Carl

I'm on my second cobra - an ERA - and I highly recommend visiting the ERA factory in New Britain, Ct. Any specific questions, send me a pm or email. Enjoy the search. Rick

Thanks for the replies, Guys, I will be check ing out the sites you have all mentioned and will in the future probably be sending pm to ask what seem to be obvious questions to the owners but to the uniniated they will be inquiries in the decision process. The madness is contagious , hope my 3 in college get done soon!!
