Default The Deed Is Done !!!

WhooHooo!!! After more than 20 years I have finally did it. I just got off the phone with Factory Five. I placed my order for a MKIII complete kit with Jason. I have a completion date of July 26th. I still need to contact Stewart Transport to make delivery arrangements and I need to get on the ball and finish my garage work in preparation for the glorious day of delivery.

Let the madness begin!!!

Don't worry about the lack of sleep. You'll get used to it.

Well … I ordered the MK 3.1 complete kit. I was able to get in on the summer special, which includes: Front and rear bumpers, Leather steering wheel, chrome roll bar(I also ordered the passenger chrome roll bar), wind wings, sun visors, body cut outs and I upgraded to IRS which includes the Koni coil over shocks. I also ordered the heater/defroster, the new logo floor mats and I will be placing high back buckets in it. I am going to put in a Jon Barrett turn key 427W with a TKO-600. It will have Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on all four corners mounted on Billet Specialties, “Rasp II” wheels. My color will be a shade of that sunburst orange that I like, maybe over gold with a touch of candy apple red.

Are you the Dan I met in London Ohio a few weeks ago along with some other Hurricane owners?

I be the one.

Sorry to see you didn't wait for Jay to get Hurricane back up and running, but F5 is a respectable kit also.

I'm sure you will have a ball building it and then driving it.
Just remember, they are never "done".

Dan

Dan, good to hear from you. It took a while for me to finally makeup my mind but with the recent changes at Hurricane I decided to play it safe and go with FF. I'll be posting my build on my web site (and a few pictures every now and then on ClubCobra and FFcobra forums). My site is nothing fancy, but it will do for my purpose.
