Bonjour CC members...
Joined the club back in June and left for the summer before I got a chance to post an introduction. I purchased CSX4236 back in June from a gentleman in CA. He wasn't the original owner but I believe I've pieced together the car's history. Just finished the registration process here in TX and as luck would have it, I was able to list the car as a 1966 Shelby Cobra. The woman at the counter couldn't have been more helpful and since the CA title showed no year for the vehicle, just listed the vehicle as "specially constructed". She suggested I make one up -- so I did! I bought my first replica in 1993. It was a roller from a now-defunct (aren't most of them) company called Integrity Coachwerks. I spent too many hours to remember completing that build only to realize you never get paid for the sweat equity when it comes time to sell. I looked for quite some time before deciding on 4236 but knew I was going to buy something fully assembled and dialed in. I'm happy with the choice and waiting patiently for the summer to end here so I can drive it comfortably on weekends. Anyhow, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...
