Bennett Cobra kit car(s)
I have molds to make 427 Cobra kit car bodies. I am looking for someone that has some photos of a complete Bennett car from Hayward, CA and I am looking to sell the molds/$5k...
Let me know-

Did you check out their website?

Kinda funky lines around the oil cooler opening.

Not the same. Paul Bennett built his own cars, two styles, one was a ladder frame close to rest of box frame kits and the last one he did was full space frame with indy style pushrod suspension. I have space frame car with the body from the molds he owned at one time which were the butler molds. Did not use floor pan part of molds for space frame cars, did all panels and floors out of alum. Paul Bennett shop was on enterprise st. in hayward.

Paul Bennet Cobra
CharlesM,
I attached a neat image of the Bennett car. I also have some original literature, but I will be on vacation the next two weeks. If Rusty Bob cannot help let me know.

Wow..much of that frame looks like my Arntz. There are some additional bars, but the basic frame design is the same. I do like his rear axle design with the upper control arm.

Nice stout looking frame.
Notice how close to center the suspension pivots are.

Kicking a 13 year old topic is unlikely to get you anything. Most or all of these people are long gone.

There is a 12-07-15 thread by 427SSSS “Bennett chassis on Bennett jig” with photos if that’s any help.
427SSSS owned/owns the jigs.
Good luck.
