Hello everyone. I just signed on. I've had my B and B for 6 years and not done yet. Time and money is the issue. But I'm still having fun with the build.
I'm happy with the B and B frame and the strength of the body. It's a solid car. There are things about this kit I didn't like and have changed along the way. I enjoy reading everyones comments and happy to be part of it.

Welcome
Six years and only one post! Glad you have finally joined us. Lots of great people to help you out if you need it.
Post some pictures when you have some time and enjoy your build. It only gets better once you are on the road.

Thanks, I'm close to firing it up for the first time. I'll work on those photos.

Thanks. I can't wait to be where you are now. Wish I didn't have to work and had all the money I needed.
I still have to decide on my gears for my rear axle ( 9" ) Are you happy with your 340 gears on the highway and still have low end torque?

Welcome Groundhog. What engine are you going to use and how are you going to use the car. If you race it or are just going to drive it you might want to think about the gears. Also what transmission are you going to use. I had a 418 stroker in mine and raced it with 3:27 gears, but on the highway with a 5 speed I hardly ever used the 5th gear. The Coupe that I have now, if I ever get it back has 3:56 gears and they are about perfect for me as I don't race any more.

I have a 351W, Edelbrock performer RPM airgap intake, heads and cam. 750 Holley DP, T-5 trans, 9" rear axle. I'm not going to be racing, just road trips and car shows. I would like to be able to cruise on the highway and still maintain good low end torque. I'm guessing I'll be in the 425 to 450HP range. My car maybe alittle heavier than most(2400ish) I hope the extra weight will help the ride. I just want a solid car that is fun to drive.

I like my gears but i have an auto with the torque of a big block, you have a 5 speed you might try 3.50's,you would have killer acceleration and a low cruise rpm.......my car launches so hard (2500 stall converter)that it drives the rear tires up inside the wheel wells and they rub on the inside of the wheel wells and i can hardley hold on to the steering wheel.......wow what fun that is.........
